He was called CK affectionately by nearly everyone. At about this time, we met his uncle and former CPI–ML Charu Majumdar group activist and twice MLA from Chittoor district, C.K. Cyril had decided that he wanted to study law and equip himself with tools to support the movement in legal matters. The conundrum on everyone’s minds was what to do next.
